Will a speeding ticket affect my husbands insurance if I am insured through a different company?

Last year I got a traffic ticket for speeding. I am insured through AAA. We were only recently married and the car I drive is registered through my parent's name as they bought the car. I am not the primary subscriber and I am just down as a driver. My husband has his own car insured through State Farm Insurance. I realize that my own car insurance would be affected but would my husband's? We dont have the same last name, Im not on his insurance in any way other than perhaps a driver but even that I dont think we have updated. We got a notification from State Farm that his rates will go up now because of my violation, in my own car, through my own seperate company. Is this right? Can they do that? Does this mean that both AAA and State Farm get to raise the rate on me?

Does anyone know how much insurance will be for a soon to be 16 year old '89-'93 Camaro driver? I've heard that Camaros are gas guzzlers and my boyfriend lives a half hour away and that could get quite costly. So, this may be a retarded question, but is there anyway I could get better gas mileage? Any other helpful information on Camaros would be great. I'm buying a car today and I already have the insuance and can leave with the car today once I give a down payment. However, the car dealer and I were speaking on the phone and he told me he can give me the same car and year but with more features like a Nav Panel on the dashboard and bluetooth and a couple of other smaller details like USB ports. Now my question would be, with these new features that don't exactly change much from the car I was originally getting, would this make my insurance go up?

I have my 18 year old daughter covered under my auto insurance policy. She is covered on her own car and mine as well. My question is, if she happens to get into an accident while driving her car, can the other person try and sue me since the policy is in my name? Also, if she lets someone else drive her car who has no insurance and they get into a wreck, can I be sued? She owns her own car and the title is in her name alone. We live in IL

I'm a 30 year old married woman in relatively good health. I have no health insurance, and no preexisting conditions. I would like to look into a plan (probably HSA compatible) that is of low cost. It really burns me that an average plan would cost $500 a month for spouse and myself - when we just need to go and get checkups 2-3 times a year...which winds up being about $6k a year - to go less than a half of times between 2 people. Is there a happy medium at all?
